Jordan Commercial Bank Signs Agreement with CreditCard Services Co. (CSC) �MasterCard�

(Free-Press-Release.com) January 6, 2005 -- Amman, January 2005 � The Jordan Commercial Bank (JCB) signed an agreement of cooperation with the CreditCard Services Company Jordan LLC (CSC) �MasterCard� on January 2, 2005 to provide JCB with MasterCard�s full-fledged credit card service offerings that will come in all available payment forms such as prepay, credit, and debit and others. MasterCard services will be offered to customers throughout all JCB branches.

The Jordan Commercial Bank was represented by the CEO and General Manager Dr. Jawad Hadid while Mr. Abdul Qader Al-Dweik, Chairman of CSC, signed on the behalf of the CreditCard Services Company Jordan LLC (CSC) �MasterCard�.


During the signing of the agreement of cooperation, Dr. Jawad Hadid, CEO and General Manager of the Jordan Commercial Bank stated: �This cooperation agreement has provided the Jordan Commercial Bank with a wealth of integrated services through its application of MasterCard. Accordingly, our use of the advanced services offered by CSC Jordan will no doubt raise the level of services to the highest position achievable thus providing our clients with the ease of independent and free application of the internationally known MasterCard network.�

Dr. Jawad Hadid added that through the bank�s continued partnership with CSC Jordan (MasterCard) it shall extend to the Jordanian market the most advanced level of new services and products, of which JCB will reveal at a later stage. This coincides with the Jordan Commercial Bank�s vision to stand out as the leading banking enterprise in Jordan through its provision of the most advanced, securest, and finest products and services to corporations, retailers and investors, offered at the highest global standards and with the most competitive pricing.

On the other hand, Mr. Abdul Qader Al-Dweik, Chairman of CreditCard Services Company Jordan (MasterCard) stated that CSC Jordan represents one of the largest networks in the Arab world specialising in credit card services, with MasterCard providing the latest and most developed network to the Jordan Commercial Bank. He noted that CSC Jordan will meet Jordan Commercial Bank�s banking demands and needs, specifically in the area of credit card services through MasterCard services in all its available forms. Mr. Al-Dweik also emphasised the landmark agreement with JCB, raising the number of CSC Jordan�s MasterCard partnerships to five Jordanian banks.


Mr. Al-Dweik highlighted that the powerful banking reputation JCB has in the Jordanian market is to the benefit of its clients, in terms of the advanced credit card banking services. Globally renown as the most advanced, most preferred, and securest banking services, the new MasterCard credit card banking services are expected to generate a strong local presence.
