Tsunami Sri Lanka - Autism Appeal on Tribute Site to Vernon Corea
The Autism Awareness Campaign Sri Lanka's international appeal to help the tsunami victims is now on the tribute site to veteran broadcaster Vernon Corea

A tsunami devastated the south and the east of Vernon Corea's birthplace - Sri Lanka. Vernon Corea who died in New Malden, Surrey in the UK in September 2002 was a pioneering broadcaster of Radio Ceylon and the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC).
He was appointed Ethnic Minorities Adviser to the BBC in 1978. Vernon Corea also presented the popular BBC program 'London Sounds Eastern' on BBC Radio London.
Vernon Corea was a committed supporter of the Autism Awareness Campaign.

The Autism Awareness Campaign Sri Lanka are not collecteding funds themselves but are working with partners the respected Rotary Club Colombo Regency in reaching out to the tsunami victims on the east and the south of Sri Lanka.
