January 11, 2005 (Press Release) --
Wheatland Broadband Services announced today the offering of a computer and network infrastructure priority service agreement to customers in its service area. Featuring one hour dispatch time on service calls, Wheatland Broadband’s new service agreement is ideal for customers who prefer an outside entity to take care of their internal computer infrastructure.
Especially in today’s economy, the need for a business to stay focused on their product or service is increasingly strong. Companies can either maintain their own technology staff at great cost or allow a provider like Wheatland Broadband handle their technology needs. In choosing to maintain a bare bones in-house technology staff, companies can expect to pay at least $50,000 a year in salary and training. For only $125 per month, Wheatland Broadband allows a company to focus on the bottom line instead of patches, updates, and viruses.
“We have a strong pool of technical expertise upon which to draw when servicing our customers, ranging from virus removal to maintaining upgrades and patches to network troubleshooting. Our technical support department boasts a combined 94 years of technical experience, with three of those individuals having over 20 years each,” says Jevin Kasselman, division manager. “We see this agreement as similar to a retainer you would pay your attorney for legal needs. When today’s bottom line is riding on your down network, the last thing you want to hear is ‘We can be there next week’.”
Priority customers enjoy several perks including:
• one hour dispatch time for service calls
• one hour of free onsite support per month
• installation, configuration, and maintenance of a Cisco PIX firewall/router
• free travel time on first service call each month
• discount on hourly service rates
• prioritized phone service and attention
For a full explanation of the agreement, see the Wheatland Broadband web site at www.wbsnet.org.
