Medical ID Jewelry for kids
For_Immediate_Release:

January 11, 2005 (Press Release) -- It can be tough enough to be a kid with a medical condition. Sometimes it's made even tougher by the necessity of a medical bracelet. One WAHM has found a way for kids to express themselves while keeping safe at the same time.

Daisy Sutherland, owner of Art Wear by Daisy, offers custom bracelets that can be made to wear with a medical identification tag. "I had a customer whose daughter was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and needed to wear a medical tag, so she asked if I could make a bracelet for her to wear the tag with." Sutherland noted, "Her mom was so happy that I was able to do this. She is one of my loyal customers and always purchases bracelets for her daughter to wear with her tag."

Kim Van Saders, whose daughter now wears her medical tag with Sutherland's bracelets, states "These bracelets truly add fun, fashion and flair to an otherwise difficult and dreary battle with this disease. When I see the look in others eyes and the expression on their faces when they admire her bracelets it shines some light on an otherwise dark situation."

Sutherland's jewelry, which is made from high quality materials such as
swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls, is easy to customize for the
tags. Customers simply select their bracelet, subtract the length of their
tag and their custom medical bracelet will be mailed to them within 14
days.

One important design note is that all medical bracelets are made with
'lobster clasps' to prevent them from coming apart. Art Wear by Daisy can
also supply the tag with the bracelet, so it makes a perfect surprise gift
for the child who has a bracelet and hates wearing it.

Art Wear by Daisy has also partnered with Oneida Medical Jewelry
(www.oneida-medical-jewelry.com) so customers can order their medical tag
from Oneida, who will then ship it to Art Wear for the bracelet.

Sutherland reflected "I want to make sure that whoever wears a medical
alert tag has the choice of variety. If I could save one person's life
because they were wearing one of my beaded creations with their medical
tags, I would be deeply blessed."
