Shane and Shawn Ward are creating powerful alliances for their expanding footwear line DETNY Footwear. They have recently agreed to provide shoes from their line to outfit the staff at Geisha House in Los Angeles which is a restaurant that is owned by the likes of Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, and Danny Masterson. This is a collaborative effort that was put together by the Los Angeles based power broker Lonnie Moore.
Shane and Shawn Ward are also providing shoes for the Gansevoort Hotel, which is a favorite spot for the likes of Usher, Leonardo DiCaprio, Paris Hilton, Jessica Simpson, Ashton Kutcher, and Beyonce. When one of the hotel’s VIP guests are in need of some shoes, the Gansevoort Hotel will ensure that they will be provided with complimentary DETNY by Shane and Shawn shoes.
DETNY by Shane and Shawn will also outfit the staff of a premier restaurant in the Hamptons: B Smith’s. B Smith’s is an establishment that has catered to the likes of Robert De Niro, Billy Joel, Alan Houston, Aretha Franklin, Star Jones and Roy Scheider and of course, Barbara Walters.
Having been featured in Vibe Magazine’s 10th Anniversary issue as one of the few selected top designers in the fashion industry, and in Footwear News as one of the Top 30 to Watch, DETNY continues to be the only brand that features hip, contemporary casual designs, with the technical comfort of a high performance athletic shoe.
