Little Rock, Ar—N.W. Arkansas Rock Band The Odds have signed with O N S Talent Services in Little Rock after being heard at the local club Sticky Fingerz in the Rivermarket.
"We must have made a good impression at Sticky Fingerz here in Little
Rock," said Odds keyboardist and vocalist Derek Van Lynn. "We're excited to
be working with a manager, and hope to keep playing a lot of gigs in Arkansas
and beyond."
“What a great group The Odds are,” praised the bands new manager John Riegler. “Their unique sound and natural music abilities tell me that they are something special and will make the big time very soon. I have big plans in mind for them and booking more shows in Little Rock is just the first step.”
The Odds are recent winners of The 2004 Ozark Music Awards’ Artist of the Year,
Best New Band, Best Song, Best Album Cover, and Best Album.
They were one of 20 national finalists in the 2004 "Take A Shot At
Cabo" band competition, sponsored by Hard Rock Cafe and Sammy Hagar. They
have been playing gigs in Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Springfield, Eureka
Springs, and Little Rock.
Their CD is called "Stick It In Your Pocket," The disc has gotten rave reviews and is already hard to find on the shelves anywhere. The CD is starting to get airplay in Little Rock.
