January 24, 2005 (Press Release) --
This Certification by TUV has demonstrated that the e-Zest’s Quality management system fully conforms to the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000 Standard , adheres to its own highly challenging quality policies and objectives, and that e-Zest places greater accountability on both executive management involvement and measurable quality objectives.
e-Zest began the certification process in March 2004. The award of the ISO 9001:2000 certification came at the end of an intense audit that involved e-Zest team members at multiple levels of the organization. TUV India (P) Ltd. performed the external audit; examined e-Zest’s documented procedures, and conducted an audit of the company’s overall operations.
e-Zest Quality Assurance team lead by CTO Mr. Ashish Gupta and e-Zest’s Quality representative Mr. Vishant Sarodia had played major role in this achievement. In message to all team members at e-Zest, Ashish said “Now that we will be recognized by the world as ISO certified company, our clients and people associated with e-Zest will also not only expect the quality, but they can demand Quality!. It has indeed increased our responsibilities multifold, but with helping hands and brains of you all, we are highly confident of meeting and exceeding these expectations with our team member’s active involvement in building, improving and maintaining the QMS. The next quality target for e-Zest is CMMI Level 5 Certification. The necessary planning and actions towards this goal have already started”.
Commenting on the occasion, CEO Mr. Devendra Deshmukh said, “The ISO 9001:2000 certification is a significant milestone in the history of e-Zest. It is yet another implementation of our company’s Quality Policy wherein we have committed that the processes by which we transact our business will comply with recognized international quality standards, as appropriate, and also meet the varying and changing demands of our clients and partners. We attribute e-Zest's eligibility for this certification to its time-tested processes, and its ability to communicate TQM requirements clearly throughout the organisation, which enables everyone at e-Zest to work as a well-knit cohesive team.”
“Documented processes are of little value if they are not effectively deployed. To achieve buy-in for the documented process, process implementers must be part of process definition and improvement. e-Zest has followed same principle and all team members have participated in defining, implementing processes at e-Zest. We are especially thankful to our team members, who made this achievement reality. ” Said COO Mr. Amol Pande.
Mr. Rajendra Babtiwale from quality consulting firm Anuro has helped e-Zest in defining & implementing processes according to ISO standards using ANAAR process improvement methodology.
