FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE January 28, 2005
(WHITESBURG, GA) Country Cottage Soap, manufacturer of natural handmade soaps and skin care products, is introducing a new concept in natural body care products with the use of kudzu root in their body care products. Founded in 1998 by Teresa Pettey, as a small operation in her northwestern Georgia country kitchen, Country Cottage Soap quickly grew forcing her operation out of the home as the company began an Internet and wholesale business.
Originality in appearance and fragrance have become essential qualities that set products apart in the skin care industry. Country Cottage Soap strives to distance itself from the norm with its vivid colors and strong fragrances. It has changed the appearance of what is known as handmade soap. Quality, moisturizing, natural bath products are the basis of the company. Natural does not have to be boring.
Kudzu, a wild vine that grows in the southern U.S., is now being used in their all natural soaps, lotions, shea butter creams, and shea butter exfoliating scrubs. This unusual innovation marks a turning point for their already luxurious skin care line. In addition to the moisturizing and nourishing oils and butters such as shea butter, olive, soy, and coconut oils, ground kudzu enriches the moisturizing soaps, lotions, creams, and scrubs with protein, vitamins and minerals.
Country Cottage Soap offers 47 fragrances from which to choose in soaps, lotions, creams, scrubs, bath soaks, body mists, home fragrance sprays, and fragrant sachets. Gift sets are available in all 47 fragrances and combinations of products. In addition, they also offer a line of natural baby products including soothing baby soap, emollient lotion, napping cream, and baby bottom balm.
Also new is the Twinkle Toes natural foot care line that includes refreshing foot soaks, foot sprays, shea butter scrubs, and luscious cooling shea butter creams.
Country Cottage Soap products may be found in specialty and gift shops across the U.S. as well as online at www.countrycottagesoap.com and at the gift shop in Whitesburg.
