flash file recovery is a nifty application that every photographer should be aware of. essentially, it can recover any previously deleted image file. plus, it is capable of salvaging pictures from damaged or corrupted flash drives (including camera's built-in memory) and memory sticks. while camera or storage media failure is a rather rare event, the need to recover intentionally or accidentally deleted picture should be familiar to most camera owners.
the list of supported storage media includes but is not limited to smartmedia, cf compactflash, sony memory stick, microdrive, xd picture card flash card, pc card, multimedia card, secure digital card, and many others. flash file recovery "resurrects" images from formatted, damaged, corrupted (unreadable), or defective storage media.
