The class instructor, Maui author Lyle Wilkinson, grew up in Canada and moved to Hawaii 35 years ago. He earned both BBA and MBA while working full time and prior to retiring managed the USA's largest coffee farm. Always a fan of data driven decisions, he began researching disciplined, mechanical, system approaches to the stock market in 1999. His book DIY Portfolio Management grew from wanting to help others get a better handle on their stock investments.
