The music of Minnesota Pianist/Composer David Alstead is being featured on NPR's All Songs Considered website, Open Mic.

February 2, 2005 (Press Release) -- David Alstead is thrilled to announce that his song "Empty Well" from his most recent original solo piano CD "Piano For Both Ears" has been selected to be featured nationally on National Public Radio's (NPR) All Songs Considered website, Open Mic. Open Mic is an online forum that promotes exposure for new music by relatively unknown musicians.

Visitors to the NPR website are given the chance to listen to the featured songs, and rate them on a scale of 1-5, allowing feedback to the musicians.
