Atlanta Brewing Company to Release Limited-Edition �Red Brick Red Bock�

Atlanta Brewing Company to welcome Spring with special beer.

With a promising prediction of early Spring by Georgia�s own General Beauregard Lee, Ph.D. on Groundhog�s Day, Atlanta Brewing Company moved up the planned release date for its Spring Seasonal, Red Brick Red Bock. The groundhog�s positive prognostication for Spring prompted Georgia�s oldest microbrewery to move the planned release date of March 20th, the first day of Spring, back to the Ides of March on the 15th for a few select accounts. ABC President Greg Kelly, who is of Irish descent, refused to comment on the coincidental inclusion of St. Patrick�s Day in this earlier release date.

Red Brick Red Bock is a local interpretation of traditional Bavarian Spring brews such as the M�rzen or Maibock. Made with Annandale Springs water from the north Georgia mountains and both domestic and imported ingredients, Red Bock will show the balance and subtle complexity associated with Atlanta Brewing�s other offerings such as Red Brick Ale and Peachtree Pale Ale. Long-time head brewer Dave McClure�s interpretation of the style is a rich red brew with strong maltiness accented by subtle hints of caramel and spiced nicely with European hops; the perfect warm-up for the last cold days of the season. No more than 100 barrels of this brew will be produced, and it will only be available in Georgia on draft. Fear not, however, as it will be available at the airport for those just passing through our fair state.
The inclusion of a Spring seasonal was prompted by the positive receptions of last year�s Summer and Winter brews.
