Alpharetta, GA, January 19, 2005 – Virtual Management Technologies (VMT), a leading provider of managed services for midsize organizations, has announced the introduction of a new business continuity service, Digistor™ Replication Services. This service, designed for the needs of smaller IT operations, provides virtual backup of critical enterprise systems including production applications and data.

Incremental backups are assembled, compressed, encrypted and streamed to VMT’s secure data center each night using a secure Internet connection. On request, VMT can recover data and documents quickly and efficiently.
• Replication Services – backup of critical business applications. VMT defines the replication topology and creates duplicate copies of the application with data on a dedicated server in its data center. In case of interruption, the replication server is deployed.
The cost of Digistor Services are dependent on the number of applications mirrored, the size of the data store, frequency of data backup and frequency of data recovery.
