He talks about anything and everything leaving his trail of words for some to tread on while others laugh him off. If you love him or hate him most will agree he is one of America’s great all time treasures. He is Author Bob D Caterino and although he is best known for his comic relief for television, radio, stage and screen he has been rattling cages with his new work on the internet called “Growing Up Goomba”. Goomba is the book that tells all of the secrets of the mob. “I don’t care who doesn’t wish me to be heard. I write what I think and I really don’t care who is asking me to be quiet. I stand on my principles and talk or write about them. This is a part of me and is we disagree that’s only the part of nature we tend to over look. Many get mad only because they disagree with my view. I say don’t get mad, get a view of your own”. These words from the man himself tell it all. He is strictly a comedian but as of late, he has been trying to write a few wrongs. His more serious topics have been criticized and now he is dealing with anything from death threats to praises. For years this author has been keeping behind the scenes making his mark in the world of comedy but now he seems to be all over the place. The topics are many, the fans are growing and the man is indeed making his mark. Never heard of Bobby D? I’m sure you have but in these days of flashing credits flying by on your television or news breaking into your shows preventing you from seeing who was responsible for the favorite shows you are watching it is almost imposable to see who writes what. “The internet has so many untapped sources and I decided that I will own this thing by the year 2010.
