NFL all-stars, Ahman Green, Daunte Culpepper, Warren Moon, Ted Hendricks and others voiced their support for U.S. troops by wearing red, white and blue silicone wristbands at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii.

OREM, Utah – Twenty NFL all-star football players, including several from the Great Lakes area, showcased their support for members of the U.S. military by sporting red, white and blue silicone wristbands from the Bands For Freedom Foundation during the 2005 Pro Bowl and Pro Bowl festivities held last week in Honolulu.
These present and past National Football League all-stars have been added to the Bands For Freedom “Heroes Page” – (www.bandsforfreedom.com/en/heroes.php#) – an online list of celebrity supporters of the U.S. troops via the Bands For Freedom Foundation and the Armed Forces Relief Trust fund (AFRT).
Recent additions to the NFL players highlighted on the “Heroes Page” showcasing their support for U.S. troops by wearing red, white and blue Bands For Freedom silicone wristbands include
· Daunte Culpepper, quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings who lead the league in 2004 in passing yards with (4,717) and 39 touchdowns (best in the National Football Conference):
· Ahman Green, the Green Bay Packers’ top-rated running back who, since coming to Green Bay in 2000, leads all NFL players in yards from scrimmage (7,598) and rushing yards (5,685);
· Warren Moon, 18-year veteran quarterback for both the Vikings and Houston Oilers who made nine Pro Bowl appearances; and
· Ted Hendricks, eight-time Pro Bowl participant and Hall of Fame defensive end.
“We are grateful to have so many NFL heroes supporting this cause,” said Steve Cloward, president and chief executive officer of Bands For Freedom. “But, anyone can do this, which is what we think is so great about these wristbands. You don’t have to be a millionaire or a sports hero. You just have to recognize the great service being done by the troops and then support them by wearing the Bands For Freedom wristbands.”

· Sam Adams, the Buffalo Bills’ 335-pound nose tackle; and
· Steve Atwater, retired Pro Bowl safety for the Denver Broncos and New York Jets;
