February 21, 2005 (Press Release) --
Chicago…Chemically Imbalanced Comedy proudly announces their upcoming production of God, by Woody Allen and Directed by Don Hall. This hysterical comedy poses many questions and leaves its ensemble of colorful characters to fumble with the answers! Is there a God? If an actor acknowledges he is an actor in the midst of a play, is he still acting? And how is it the Greeks spoke English? God doesn’t really answer these questions, but the ride will make you laugh so hard your stomach will hurt! A play within a play, within an audience, within the Cornservatory, God is like an M. Night Shamalayan film without all the scary stuff. It opens on March 25th and runs through May 1st, Thursdays and Fridays at 8:00 and Sundays at 4:30. All performances will be at The Cornservatory at 4210 N. Lincoln Avenue. Every Sunday is 2 for 1 tickets and every Thursday is Industry Night, where actors will receive 2 for 1 tickets with a headshot or union card.
