New Partners Bring Prize Packages Value to Nearly $100,000
LOS ANGELES/Bradford, PA – Zippo Manufacturing announces it will team up with Peavey Electronics, TAMA Drums, PureVolume, Discfarm and Pro-Mark for the 2005 HOT TOUR according to Manager of Event Marketing, Brent Tyler. ESP, an industry-leading guitar and bass manufacturer, Sonicbids, the leader in online communication solutions for independent musicians, and Capitol Records have already signed on as exclusive partners.

The 2005 ZIPPO HOT TOUR, which is the only nationwide competition where the fans choose the bands, kicked off this month and unsigned rock bands from ten U.S. cities have until April 14, 11:59:59 PM EST, to register at www.zippohottour.com to qualify for the first round of online competition.

The winning band will be flown to Hollywood, California to showcase their talent to A&R executives at Capitol Records and join the 10-city tour with a national headlining band in their very own decked out tour bus in November.
