February 25, 2005 (Press Release) --
(Budd Lake, NJ—February 25, 2005) Dorinne Davis, MA, CCC-A, FAAA, RCTC, BARA, will be appearing on NBC’s CT Affiliate Station, WVIT during the morning news at 9:00am on Saturday, February 26, 2005 discussing Autism and Sound Therapy.
As the world’s only person certified in all major sound therapies, Dorinne Davis has become a leader in trying to help promote Autism awareness and resources available in the community. She has written for Defeat Autism Now (DAN), belongs to various autistic groups and makes it a point to forgo her speaking fees for autistic family support groups locally.
“With 1 out of 166 children born being diagnosed with Autism, it is a very serious trend. The sound therapies I offer help make positive changes in their auditory processing intake.” Notes Davis.
Dorinne Davis is the Founder and President of The Davis Center which offers many comprehensive sound therapies for Autism and others with auditory related issues. Clients receive a Diagnostic Evaluation Test Protocol (DETP) which is unique to only The Davis Center. This gives Ms. Davis a complete look at the person’s auditory issues and prepares a protocol to follow to best meet each person’s specific needs.
She adds, “Our DETP allows me to look at the whole person. I strongly believe in a total person approach. We take a look at which therapies best meet the needs of the client. We don’t believe one therapy fit all clients. We believe every client is unique and we deliver unique services to them.”
To hear more about Dorinne Davis, The Davis Center and Sound Therapy, watch NBC’s WVIT-TV on Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 9am. Or you can visit The Davis Center online at www.thedaviscenter.com.
