February 28, 2005 (Press Release) --
The rebrand showcases the studios expertise in identity and brand development, including advertising, print, packaging, product development and e-commerce web development. The project has received the following awards:
2005 Applied Arts Design and Advertising Awards – Winner – ‘Design - Complete Program’
2004 Communication Arts Design Awards – Winner – ‘Corporate Identity’
2004 National Post Design Exchange Awards – Merit Award - ‘Visual Communications’ Category
“We feel honoured to have received these awards for the strategic and creative work we have produced in collaboration with our client. These award competitions each have their own criteria for winning entries and are the highest in graphic design because they take into account actual marketplace effectiveness, as well as aesthetics,” says Cory Ripley, co-founding principal of Exhibit A. “Winning these awards confirm the passion and belief we apply to our work and our dedication to providing world class design to our clients businesses”.
Founded in 2002 by Cory Ripley and Robert Spofforth, Exhibit A: Design Group is a small design studio committed to a collaborative relationship with clients that result in building brands, not just images. The studio believes the way we perceive a business, an idea, a person or a product ultimately decides whether or not we grant it any attention, or that ‘Good Design Builds Trust’.
Jack and Lily company president and owner immediately experienced added value of the rebrand at its launch which was unveiled at its industry’s largest trade show in New York City. “It was the largest response we’ve ever had at a trade show,” he stated. “People who had placed orders with our competitors, and then discovered Jack and Lily, cancelled their previous orders and returned to place their orders with us”.
