Jackson, MS, March 10, 2005 – In another sign that his campaign continues to gain momentum, Jackson mayoral candidate Frank Melton has officially launched his campaign website, MeltonForMayor.com. The website features a biography of Melton’s accomplishments and community service plus information about campaign issues, endorsements, media resources, voter registration information, and more.
“On our website, voters can learn more about me and my career, as well as what I consider to be the critical issues facing the residents of Jackson,” said Melton, who is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the TV-3, Inc. Foundation and former Director of the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics. “We are so pleased that we could use a long-standing Jackson-based company to help us with our website.”
“Fighting crime, attracting jobs, improving streets, and helping our kids are some of Frank’s primary concerns,” said Jane Sargeant, Chair of the Melton For Mayor campaign. “He’s addressing the issues head-on, and that’s what the citizens of Jackson want and deserve.” She said the site will continue to evolve and include new information as the campaign progresses, and will be a valuable asset in informing the public about Frank Melton, his stands on the issues, and all aspects of the campaign.
