March 15, 2005 (Press Release) --
New combined offering delivers optimized breadth of treasury, portfolio, reference data and risk management
On the occasion of the Asian Bankers Summit, AIM Software, a leading provider of reference data management and risk management software for the financial industry, and Xen Business Solutions (Malaysia) today announced a strategic alliance to provide a seamless integration between their respective solutions.
The integrated solution will offer financial institutions a comprehensive approach to manage treasury and portfolios through Xen Business’s COMPASS solution, while employing AIM Software’s GAIN DataDesktop ( http://www.aim-sw.com ) to manage the full lifecycle of data capture, cleansing, consolidation, enrichment and storage of reference, price and corporate actions data into a “golden copy”.
“This alliance with AIM Software answers our customers’ needs for data and risk management that integrates the full range of investment data affected by corporate actions,” states Jeffrey Cheah, Director of Sales of Xen Business Solutions. “The ability to link AIM Software’s Straight Through Processing (STP) tools for corporate actions with Xen Business’s treasury and portfolio management adds important features to both solutions, and allows our existing and future clients to leverage best of breed solutions in a major problem area – data and risk management.”
“Our data management and risk management software solutions can now be delivered as a valuable business application for clients in the Asian region,” said Martin Buchberger, CEO of AIM Software. “The direct and local service for our clients and the advantage of offering two complementary solutions working together provide a remarkable added value to our customers in Malaysia and Asia.”
