In the past
The Imperial Hell Drivers new silver paint scheme with flames, look excellent. This new paint scheme, attracts a great deal of attention, when they travel the roads, in the United States and Canada
Starting with the show announcer, Gord Kennedy, who joined his first show with the Interprovinical Motor Trails back in 1953. Gord has been with Paul Riddell, approximately thirty-years (2001), first as a stuntdriver for many years before becoming the man behind the mike. Gord Kennedy hails from Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.
The show had a number of car transports bringing stock cars to various race tracks in Western Canada. They would pull into town, set up their portable lightning system, then take on the locals in a stock car race program.
Paul Riddell, from Montreal, Canada, he is the oldest stuntdriver performing on a regular basis. This 2002 season is the 50th year in this industry for Paul Riddell. The Imperial Hell Drivers is the longest continuously operated thrill show in the "World". Paul has crashed over three-thousand junk automobiles, as well as having announced, clowned, precision driven, and motorcycle ridden to the top of his profession.
Toby Thibodeau, hails from Windsor, Maine, and despite all the adversity, when Toby lost her left hand in a motorcycle mishap over eleven years ago, made her a stronger person and performer. Toby is truly a real "Trooper" in the entertainment field of stunts. A genuine leader, out-standing instructor with-in the auto thrill show business, a super-performer, and a wonderful mother. When you watch Toby perform this 2002 auto thrill show season, you will come away from the event, amazed. How does she accomplish this skill act. Toby, after her accident at the Melfort Fair, in Saskatchewan, Canada switched over to driving monster trucks, and has owned three of them,"the All Canadian" diesel powered truck, "the Wrecker" and the shocking pink "One Armed Bandit". Toby has crashed over two thousand junk automobiles, and the list just keeps growing in numbers. You will love this mother of the stuntdriving community, in the Imperial Hell Driving show. Toby joined this industry after having driven starting gates at various New England horse race tracks
