Moscow, Russian Federation -- Publicis United and Grey Worldwide Group Russia were the most successful winners in the 4th Russian Marketing Awards announced on Saturday 19th March. Publicis United, part of the Publicis Worldwide Group, won 12 awards for group companies and campaigns for clients. Grey Worldwide Group Agencies were close behind with 11 awards for group agencies and client campaigns.
In all 54 Awards were given at a Gala dinner attended by over 150 industry leaders.
The client that won the most awards was Hewlett Packard, a Publicis United client with Grand Prix as client of the Year, and three Gold awards for best Integrated Campaign, campaign making Most Innovative Use of Media and Best Re-branding Campaign.
Grey’s Visa client won three awards.
Publicis United, a 12-year old agency founded by current group chairman Nazim Valimahomed as United Campaigns, affiliated with Publicis Group in 1999 and was acquired by the French based Group last year, won Gold Creative Agency of the Year while sister agency Zenith Optimedia headed by Svetlana Shupe won Gold Media Agency of the Year.
Grey’s G2 won Gold BTL Agency of the Year.
The Awards are organised by Bonar Media,
They were founded in 1998 by Marketing Russia, a trade magazine edited by John Bonar.
The biennial Awards are Russia’s premier awards encompassing traditional above the line advertising, below the line promotions and integrated campaigns which have proven bottom line effectiveness in achieving improved recognition, brand awareness, sales and profits for the clients.
