FARRAH FAWCETT RESCUES INDIE FILMMAKERS

Ever wonder what wealthy Hollywood types buy each other for birthday gifts? It seems Hollywood Producer Giovanni Agnelli thought a novel gift for his close friend, and America�s Sweetheart, Farrah Fawcett, would be the role of benefactor. The first of three Executive Producer credits, which were up for auction by filmmaker Haylar Garcia, was recently purchased outright on Ebay for $5K by Agnelli, and given to Farrah as a birthday present. Garcia first posted these auctions in an attempt to save his documentary entitled �Do it for Johnny� www.doitforjohnny.com, which chronicles the journey of two indie filmmakers as they try to get a custom art piece into the hands of world renowned leading man, Johnny Depp. While the rest of the world is �Chasing Farrah�, these maverick filmmakers from Denver are �chasing� Johnny, with a little help from those in Hollywood who still have a soft spot for Independent Film.
