FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Free-Press-Release.com) March 24, 2005 -- San Francisco, CA, Feb 9, 2005: Media Vision USA has announced it will offer the new version of Close-Talk wireless conference and voting system. With its excellent design and quality, the new Close-Talk IR conferencing system is equipped with an expandable telescopic microphone that can stretch from 12 to 20 inches.

The microphone preamplifier is new as well as is the circuit board in the delegate station, all features that improve the sound quality of the system. The new central unit has an additional four XLR connectivity for Line in/out as well as a Tele input and output. The connectivity from the central unit to infrared transceivers has changed to standard RJ-45 sockets making the termination much easier for contractors installing the system.

Consisting of a central unit, an optional number of delegate units and one or more transceiver units, Close-Talks secure wireless conference system has numerous advantages over RF and non-wireless conferencing systems. The wireless system uses up to six infrared communications channels to transmit sound from the transceiver to delegate units, allowing multiple speakers to speak simultaneously, and eliminating bugging and interference with other wireless systems. The RS-232 serial port on the central unit enables communication to a PC as well as control devices such as AMX and Crestron. Both speakers and headphone levels in the delegate stations are adjustable. Unlike existing RF Radio Frequency systems, the wireless system is fully secure. It is also economical and very competitive in price, as well as ideal for teleconferencing purposes with the input/output in the central unit.

Other technical advantages of the Close-Talk wireless system include: PC/Windows compatibility, and expandable conference functionality and voting capabilities that include full speaker list control and archiving; battery charged units that last up to 25 hours; and the ability to handle up to 256 speakers and support up to 10 transceiver units. The detachable microphones and the carrying case also make Close-Talk conference solution ideal for rental applications.

The wireless conferencing system is now available through the existing Media Vision USA sales network across the country. To find the closest sales expert in your area, please visit http://www.mediavision-usa.com/sales.html.
