Military Salute is now available online for Memorial Day

(Free-Press-Release.com) March 25, 2005 -- The Military Salute project was launched in November, 2003 by five disabled Vietnam-era veterans who met at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Minneapolis, MN. The group began building a website in April, 2004 at http://condocat.home.att.net and has distributed nearly 20,000 copies since the project�s inception.

Individuals, groups and organizations with DSL or cable internet access who would like to use the video for Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day or Flag Day commemorations can view or download Military Salute at no charge, compliments of Prints of Poetry�s SoldierGifts.com at http://www.soldiergifts.com.

Qualifying groups and organizations that have dial-up access can receive a copy by mail, also at no charge. Active-duty military units, veterans� groups, family support groups, public safety organizations, church groups, school districts and students working on patriotic projects can visit the Military Salute home page for content and ordering information.

In addition, Prints of Poetry is collaborating with the Military Salute group to provide 1,500 copies of the video at the Disabled Sports, Recreation & Fitness Exposition on June 27th at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The Expo kicks off the 25th National Veterans Wheelchair Games which will be held in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area from June 27 to July 1, 2005.
