Westbury, NY Electro Industries/GaugeTech announces new features to the Shark 100 multifunction power and energy meter. The Shark 100 now supports DNP 3.0 communication protocol along with the existing RS485 Modbus protocol. DNP 3.0 protocol is the industry standard for utility substation telemetry.

Additional new features include power quality reporting including measuring %THD readings on voltage and current, alarm thresholds for voltage, frequency, and many other parameters.
