Stone Habitat, a high-end purveyor of luxury stone applications which is a subsidiary of the Chicago Granite & Marble, an Illinois based fabricator of granite & marble, recently unveiled a beautiful and inspiring design center in Elk Grove Village IL.
Located conveniently along Busse Road at the junction with Route 72, this new design center was tranformed from a pedestrian looking showroom where it had operated for the past 10 years into an oasis of delight in luxury stone applications. It features some of the rarest designs and stone products on the market.
There are life-size vignettes made of the unique Rapolano Stone and Italian Limestone. There are kitchens carved out of some very rare granite stones such as Blue Bahia and Golden Musk. The foyer exhibits the Green Onyx under a backlighting that highlights the breath-taking beauty of this natural product.
The flooring features a stone carpet carved out of a combination of limestone, travertine and metal inserts.
A grand fireplace, hand-crafted from Moca Travertine and Botticino stone tops the bill as it stands with great imposition over the foyer.
There is a European Garden complete with water fountain and flag stones giving the feel of a truly European garden.
