Frontier Technologies Corporation (E-Lock) today announced that Accor Services SA has chosen its automated digital signing solution.
For_Immediate_Release:

April 7, 2005 (Press Release) -- Accor Services generates about a thousand invoices on a daily basis, and E-Lock's solution will be used to automatically sign those invoices, which are in PDF format. The signature gets embedded into the PDF file itself. E-Lock’s automated electronic signature solution runs as a Windows Services and performs automated signing of a large number of documents on a periodic basis. No user intervention is required and the whole process is automated, this brings savings in terms of time and effort to organizations. By law, all electronic document archives need to be digitally signed in Romania. There is an Order no.1077/2003 of Ministry of Finance, which establishes that invoices could be stored in electronic form on WORM devices, but electronically signed with qualified certificates. Therefore companies that store or maintain a large number of electronic documents would find this solution perfect for their requirement.

E-Lock’s Authorized partner in Romania - Trans Sped srl - was instrumental in liaising with Accor Services, understanding their requirements and demonstrating the solution to them. Accor will be using digital certificates issued by Trans Sped in conjunction with the solution.

“Trans Sped as a Certificate Authority and security solutions provider has been actively promoting electronic signature solutions in the Romanian market”, said Mrs. Viky Manaila, Managing Director of Trans Sped srl. “We are happy that Accor Services has chosen the automated signing solution we offered them for their requirements.”

“It is because of our well established and capable European partners like Trans Sped Romania that E-Lock is able to capitalize on local business opportunities”, said Dr Nimish Shah, VP Business Development for E-Lock. “E-Lock offers digital signature solutions that are used by companies in the US and the world over, but it is the local support (that our partners provide) which makes a difference to our customers in European and other regions.”
