As the writer of the award-winning book NetLingo: The Internet Dictionary and founder of its associated Web site www.NetLingo.com, Erin will be bring her extensive technical and creative background to the Write Image Channel Marketing team, focusing specifically on the Microsoft account. Prior to joining Write Image, Erin worked at CNET.com, OfficeDepot.com, and CareerMosaic.com.
NetLingo, is a reference book of technology terms, online business terms, and Internet jargon, used by millions of people at work, school, and in cyberspace. It has won awards from USA Today, PC Magazine, Yahoo, and Excite. NetLingo contains more than 3000 cross-linked terms and definitions, including 250 Internet jargon terms, 550 online business terms and phrases, 500 cyberslang expressions, and more than 500 advanced terms about software, hardware, networking, and programming technologies and standards. Erin recently donated five hundred copies of the book to the students of the University of Washington’s Information School (iSchool).
