Royal Oak Waste Paper and Metal Co is giving away seedling trees to its paper customers, who currently earn $50/ton for their waste paper and cardboard. There is no minimum required.

We invite you to celebrate Earth Day with Royal Oak Waste Paper and Metal Company. During April 18th thru April 23rd we will be giving away seedling trees to our paper customers who bring in their waste paper. Currently, our customers earn $50 per ton or 2.5 cents per lb for their delivered waste paper, which includes and is not limited to newspapers, magazines, junk mail, and office paper. We also pay $50 per ton for cardboard but prefer large quantities, i.e. over 100 lb, of brown material to be separated.
We are the only scrap dealers in Michigan to pay for your paper and would like to encourage more people to recycle by offering seedling trees in conjunction with Earth Week. The City of Royal Oak is named Tree City USA and in this spirit we hope this promotion will be a “tree-mendous” success.
Royal Oak Waste Paper and Metal Company is located ½ mile south of downtown Royal Oak on 414 E Hudson. Our hours are 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, and 8am – 1pm on Saturday.
