April 7, 2005 (Press Release) --
PALM HARBOR, FL, USA (APRIL 7, 2005) - M. Bryce & Associates (MBA) is pleased to announce they have
added Language Translation Support to the "PRIDE"
Methodologies for IRM (Information Resource
Mangement). This allows users to automatically
translate the "PRIDE" documentation (written in
English) to a variety of other languages,
including:
Chinese (simple)
Chinese (traditional)
Dutch
French
German
Italian
Japanese
Korean
Portugese
Russian
Spanish
The automated translation service is made available
free of charge courtesy of Applied Language
Solutions (ALS) of the United Kingdom:
http://www.appliedlanguage.com/
"Since we are trying to move 'PRIDE" towards a
universal industry standard," said MBA's Tim Bryce,
"this translation tool from ALS helps broaden the
scope of the methodologies and makes them available
to even more people. 'PRIDE' has already been used
by many overseas users, but this now makes it more
available in a consistent manner."
To translate the "PRIDE" documentation, a user
simply clicks on a selected language as made
available on the "PRIDE" web pages. A user need
not wait long for the translated text as the
service is rather prompt.
According to Bryce, "The translated text will not
be 100% accurate, but it will make a convenient
starting point for people to study the
documentation. We will add additional languages
to the list as they become available to us through
ALS."
Language Translation Support is available for:
