April 13, 2005 (Press Release) --
April 13th, 2005. - Interactive Networks Inc., announces the latest release of Instan-t 4.5 freeware, a mayor update to the public instant messaging (IM) service it offers. New features include voice and video chat compatible with AOL, MSN, ICQ & Yahoo Messengers.

Previous versions of Instan-t were already able to send files and exchange instant messages with AOL, MSN, ICQ & Yahoo Messengers, but now due to a partnership with Macromedia, Instan-t users will be able to voice and video chat with users on any of the big public IM networks.

By developing the voice and video chat features using the latest streaming technology from Macromedia Flash Communication Server, Instan-t users will not only have an excellent face to face communication experience but will also be able to communicate behind most firewalls and DSL gateways, where other messengers using pure peer to peer video technologies fail to connect.

Designed to give users a more expressive instant messaging experience, Instan-t's new version also offers audio emoticons which allow users to express their feelings with attractive emoticons that play associated sounds.

“This version of instan-t is a significant step forward in providing enhanced instant messaging communications across all the IM networks and offers the public an attractive alternative to traditional single network messengers.” says Pablo Salomon, CEO of Interactive Networks.

Instan-t, whose freeware version has over 200.000 users worldwide, also offers a unique skin technology which allows its users to choose between multiple user interface designs.

Instan-t freeware messenger has no advertising and contains no spyware. It is offered by Interactive Networks Inc. for users to experience its technology.
