Christin Potak has recently left a managerial role at a Lady of America fitness center for an Administrative position in a complete fitness and nutrition center as she enjoys being one of Long Island's most sought after fitness trainer, personal trainer, swimming instructor, lacrosse coach and role model for young ladies.
Christin received her degree in Fitness Development from SUNY Cortland & is a certified member of several Health & Fitness associations including the world's largest fitness and TeleFitness® educator™, the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA.)
Over the last few years, Christin has led a number of programs at the Great South Bay YMCA as an Aerobic/Sculpt Instructor conducting Weight Training, Body Sculpting, Stretching, Kickboxing, and Spinning classes in addition to Personal Training. As a Counselor for the after-school program which is provided to children ages five to fourteen, Christin inspires her youngsters to become interested in health and fitness as well as academic study.
During these same years, Christin has also provided group and private swimming instruction in West Islip and on Fire Island complementing her lifeguard positions.
Christin’s positive approach & “give everything you do all you have” discipline is what has positioned her as the highly sought instructor, trainer, educator, and coach she has become.
One of Christin’s most captivating qualities is an observable sentiment that her inimitable style should not be inimitable. Players, trainees, and students of all ages are equally able to embrace and adopt her positive passion for health and well-being.
