April 14, 2005 (Press Release) --
Electric Cowboy, the hottest country music dance club in Fort Worth, will be hosting the Mike Nash concert on Wednesday, May 4, 2005. This engagement will be taped for future GAC and Turner Broadcast presentations as well as setting the stage for a video and full performance DVD.
As one of Nashville's fastest rising artists, Mike is setting the trail across the Midwest and Southern regions of the USA ablaze with his honky-tonk style of country music and Southern Rock momentum.
Allison Basye-McGee, business manager and publicist for Blackhat Productions, the agent company for Mike, stated the three-hour show will highlight not only popular cover songs, but will also showcase Mike's gifted songwriting abilities through his own music with songs such as "Anything Goes," "The Bridge," and "Champaign Dreams (On A Beer Budget)." His natural stage persona encourages the audience to get up and dance and they wildly cheer him on.
The Electric Cowboy-Fort Worth venue is the first of several concerts scheduled in May for Mike, and this venue is to be considered the "kick off" stage for a long summer of hot music from this Georgia native. Interest in Mike is coming from other states such as Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, and Nevada.
As has been in the past with Mike's shows at other venues, this engagement is expected to sell out quickly. The show starts at 9:00pm with doors opening at 8:00pm. Tickets are $10 and are available only through the Electric Cowboy box office. Attendees must be 18 and over to attend the show and must present a valid ID to be admitted.
