The transatlantic Playlist Club invites digital DJs to share their sounds on April 23 in London and April 25 in Philadelphia.

Playlist Club opens its doors in London and Philadelphia once again this month to invite its audience of music lovers, music makers, dancers, judges, wannabe superstar DJ’s, remixers and mash-up artists to share their favourite songs.

Opening ears in the UK, London's leading digital music club kicks off at 9pm on Saturday April 23 at North London's Progress Bar (admission free, 9pm-2am). www.ipod-dj.com. The best DJ on the night gets £50-value of songs, thanks

to KarmaDownload (www.karmadownload.com).

In the US, April 25 sees Philadelphia’s Khyber Club open at 7.30 for a night of free entertainment, sponsored by iPodLounge (www.ipodlounge.com) with a selection of great prizes.

How it works:

We invite DJs, judges and dancers.

We invite music lovers to show up with their best 15-minute set of tunes on their iPod (or other digital music player) to play their songs through the club PA for our audience of music fans and critical judges. DJs are welcome to play their own songs and mixes. Read playlists from previous nights at www.ipod-dj.com.

The best London DJ wins a £50 top prize, and Londons’ judges get a free drink on us. The April 23 party is sponsored by KarmaDownload, a UK-based music download service specializing in dance and indie that sells tracks in the cross-platform friendly MP3 format.

Playlist Philly and iPodLounge are offering the best three DJs on April 25 a chance to win: Etymotic headphones, an iPod shuffle or $50-worth of iTunes vouchers.
