Currently, we are Listening to The Hip Hop Show on KVRX (and after that the Star Wars Talk show, These Aren’t The Droids You’re Looking For. Cool. Damn cool and some Great hosts too. Give it a Listen when you Can. It and KOOP are some of our Favorite stations in Austin and on the Internet. We still Have tons of Music rolling in and we’ll get it all in Just as soon as we Can. We MUST convince Miller that we, the people, do not approve of the real estate developers' plan to build 40-story luxury towers all along the Williamsburg/Greenpoint riverfront, before it is voted on on May 4! For subways take the 4-5-6, or the J-M-Z, or the 2-3, or the A-C, to Chambers St, or Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall, or Fulton St/Broadway-Nassau, and walk a couple blocks from any of these stations to 132 Nassau St, between Ann & Beekman. THE GREAT SHAKES (http://www.nogreatshakes.com) will be at Lit Lounge Tuesday April 19th, 9pm for the party LOWLIFE...LOWLIFE is a weekly traveling party thrown by Great Shakes’ friends, The Bamboo Kids. It will happen every week in cities like NYC, Boston and Asbury Park. This is the debut night and features The Great Shakes, Crimson Sweet, The Bamboo Kids and The Shemps. JOIE BLANEY of DEAD BLONDE GIRLFRIEND (http://www.deadblondegirlfriend.com) has a solo gig upstairs at Pianos on Thursday, April 21st at 8:30. He’ll be playing with The Woes, Rooster and The Threads. Piano's is located at 158 Ludlow Street at Stanton. The show is upstairs and FREE. AND there’s a Dead Blonde Girlfriend band show at the Sidewalk Cafe on Saturday, April 23 at 11:00 pm. Sidewalk Cafe is located at 6th street and Ave A. All shows are free and all ages. Plus they have a New CD which you should Check out before they Run out.
