Mountain West Telecom to Host the Cisco Systems NOW Van in Murray and St.George, Utah
25-foot-long vehicle will showcase the latest and most advanced Cisco technology
MURRAY, Utah – April 15, 2005 – Mountain West Telecom, the Rocky Mountain region’s premier telecommunications solutions provider, today announced it will host the Cisco Systems NOW (Network On Wheels) Van on May 2 at its Murray location and also the morning of May 6 at its new office in St.George, Utah
The 25-foot-long vehicle has been designed as a mobile telecommunications showcase, equipped with the latest Cisco networking technologies and is aimed at providing information on small-to-medium sized businesses. The telecommunications showcase provides hands-on demonstrations of proven integrated networking solutions, which are fully customizable to the individual needs of each business.
“This is an excellent opportunity for everyone to see the latest technology Cisco has to offer,” said Jeffery Pitts, president of Mountain West Telecom. “They are making great strides in telecommunications technology and adapting it to help businesses maximize their efficiency and value. At each location, the van will hold 30-40 minute tours for up to seven people at a time. Among the four key networking solutions the van will display include IP communications, security, mobility/wireless and network foundation technologies.
In addition, telecommunications professionals from Mountain West Telecom will be on site to answer questions on how Cisco products can be implemented into local and national businesses. Those who attend can also schedule a time to see Cisco solutions put to work in Mountain West Telecom’s demonstration room.
