April 19, 2005 (Press Release) -- VegasHotSpots.com™, Las Vegas’ premier VIP hosting
and party planning agency, provided the bachelor, bachelor party and weekend activities that will
be featured in the debut episode of MTV Network’s new series, “One Bad Trip,” airing Sunday, Oct.
26, 2003 at 10:30 p.m. (Visit: www.mtv.com/onair/one_bad_trip for airdates and times)
VegasHotSpots.com (www.vegashotspots.com) specializes in creating all-inclusive
experiences that feature the best in Las Vegas entertainment and nightlife, including the
“Bachelor’s Last Stand” weekend that Russ and his eight single friends enjoyed during the filming.
“MTV contacted us looking for a bachelor or bachelorette, 21-24 years old, with a tight
group of friends in their party for a blowout weekend in Las Vegas, and we gave them a choice of
11 from our extensive pool of upcoming parties,” said Mark Olson, marketing and public relations
director for VegasHotSpots.com. “They picked a really fun group of guys from Virginia Tech
University, flew them here a very short notice and put them up in the Palms Casino Resort.”
VegasHotSpots.com provided production assistance to MTV not just in sourcing the
bachelor and his friends, but also in setting up most of the weekend’s activities for shooting scenes.
“We arranged a custom version of our Bachelor’s Last Stand party package according to
MTV’s shooting requirements,” Olson said. “We pilled them into a stretch Hummer limo to start
their trip with a total Spring Break-style experience at The Beach Nightclub where the guys got
warmed up with dozens of body shots. We then took them to Sapphire Gentlemen’s Club for a
private party with dozens of dancers in the Bachelor Party Room, all while is fiancée was watching
disguised as a cocktail waitress.
“Sunday we set the boys up with an in-room exotic dancer, and then made the call to
bachelor Russ to trigger the ‘reveal’ when he learns that his fiancée and future mother-in-law have
been watching his scandalous behavior up close in disguise the whole weekend,” said Olson.
