zNose-TM- Receives CE and CSA approval for Homeland Security Applications in Europe and Canada
Approval Expands Markets for Company's Products
Electronic Sensor Technology (OTCBB: ESNR) www.electronicsensortechnology.com/today announced that its anti-terrorist technology, the zNose(TM), has received CE and CSA approval for sale in Europe and Canada. The zNose(TM) is sensitive enough to sniff out and recognize suspicious odors such as explosives, drugs, chemical weapons in cargo containers, buildings, and public transportation facilities such as airports, train stations, and subways. The zNose(TM) has passed an important milestone by completing product testing according to CSA 1010, EN 61010-1 and IEC 61326 protocols. The zNose(TM) will enhance security and public safety because it is able to quantitatively separate and measure the chemistry of any fragrance, odor, vapor, or smell with part per-trillion sensitivity in 10 seconds. Unlike trace detection technology, the Company's electronic nose can be trained to easily recognize an unlimited number of both single-chemical and multi-chemical compound odors or threat signatures.
