Woodhaven, MI. April 24 2005 – EEOC governs Discrimination and Retaliation.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) governs claims of discrimination based upon Disability, Racial and Age, as well as Reverse discrimination, just to mention a few. They enforce Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Rehabilitation Act. eSteward provides resources useful in processing such claims through the internal US Postal Service procedures and through the appeals process. Resources include (1) the MD-110, which is the EEOC manual covering Federal Agency procedures, (2) 29 CFR 1614, which is the Code of Federal Regulations covering EEOC procedures, (3) 29 CFR 1630, which is the Code of Federal Regulations covering Disability, and (4) EEOC Digest summaries of more than 500 specially selected EEOC Federal Sector Decisions.
