Live Oak Resort Prepares to Host Largest Hedonism Event in Texas History

Washington, TX, April 26, 2005. Texas’ largest clothing-optional resort hosts a 4 day/3 night hedonistic festival from May 5th through the 8th. The South’s largest clothing-optional festival, “Hedo-Fest ‘05” attracts couples from all parts of the US, Europe, Latin and South America. They will descend upon Washington, Texas to celebrate their independent spirit while letting their sexual inhibitions run free. With sponsorship from SuperClub’s Hedonism III Resort located in Jamaica, “Hedo-Fest ’05 is a gathering of open-minded couples interested in exploring their sexuality in a secure, private resort” says Larry Hilderbrand, Live Oak’s owner and general manager.

When the Hedo-Fest gates open on Thursday, the 25-acre clothing-optional resort will welcome over 500 lifestyle-friendly individuals as they participate in activities ranging from nude volleyball to all-night toga parties. New Orleans’ own Rue Bourbon performs concerts on Friday and Saturday night, and Club Larry (Live Oak’s disco) sponsors a hedonistic theme party each evening, from 11pm until 5am.
The festival is packed with activities and events chosen to please everyone from the timid to the exhibitionist. “Couples from all walks of life, race, religion and professions have already registered. From the ‘just curious’ to the most experienced lifestyle couple, we’re making sure Hedo-Fest offers something for everyone” says Jennifer Nunez, Live Oak’s co-owner and operations director.
