Fathe Glenroy Nottage, Director of The St. Jphn's AIDS Camp said, "Our views is that there is Life in spite of suffering from this dreadful disease. And, the folks who suffer, if they must should be allowed do so with dignity, privacy and in a peaceful, quiet hygenie controlled environment."This ground-breaking event will take place at the St. John's AIDS Camp, Nassau, Bahamas
on July 22-23,2005. Residents that have a desire to be baptized and cannot be submerged in the conventional baptismal cermomony will be baptized by this method, which, because of their illness is ninty percent of the camp. Wordl Baptism Mission, according to Charlie Beauford Director of World Baptism Mission, wii be using water form JORDAN, LOCATED IN THE MIDDLE EAST. iT IS MENTIONED IN THE bIBLE ACCORDING TO THE bOOK OF JOHN that JESUS fled for safety after being threatened with stoning in JERUSALEM. Water that will be used in Baptiszing in the Bahamas is drawn from that same steam that JESUS was Baptized in. Waters from the rich rivers and streams from the American's and streams from the Caribbean may also be used.
The World Baptism Mission, believes that if you are any of your lovee one are in a "Life ending experience" and you want to be baptized and water submerging isn's available or practical to you, you have a right to be baptiized using their methods.This includes persons in prision or in any situation whatsoever. World Baptism Mission is a 501(c) not-for profit organization, thax expent that has help others and can help you."We are experiencing serious difficulty in providing basic services to AIDS patients becaause of inadequate funding,"explained Father Nottage.We need immediate help with renovations and repairs to our facility and also assistance with adminisrative cost."
