Mr. Verbrugghe will be instrumental in guiding the company’s growth and strengthen its position as a leader in wireless optics.
For_Immediate_Release:

May 4, 2005 (Press Release) -- Founded in 1996, Dominion Lasercom, Inc designs, develops and markets a unique Wireless Light Communications (WLC) suite of solutions based on patented technology for the private and public telecommunications marketplace. This technology has appeal to those entities that are dissatisfied with existing wired and wireless broadband delivery platforms.

Mr. Verbrugghe has a track record of building companies that have achieved up to $500 million revenue, creating significant shareholder value. He has years of international operations and executive management experience with Westinghouse, Kollmorgen, Sermatech, and PCC Flow Technologies.

Mr. Verbrugghe will focus on the operational issues of bringing to market Dominion’s secure Wireless Light Communications technology. “There is substantial economic value to the end user” says Mr. Verbrugghe, “the Sky Fiber solution not only saves 40% or more over other technologies but is faster and easier to deploy.” Verbrugghe referenced the Weslaco Independent School District that has deployed over 30 links in a mesh network using DLI’s wireless optics technology. The Sky Fiber network was installed in less than a month and at a fraction of the cost of a comparable fiber network which would have required the local operating company six to eight month to install.

Dominion Lasercom Inc. holds fundamental patents in Wireless Light Communications (WLC) including landmark point to multi-point and mesh wireless optics metropolitan area networks. Dominion Lasercom Inc. provides a superior, cost-effective FSO solution that has overcome the technological and economical challenges that have historically limited this technology's acceptance. Dominion's patented technology will appeal to current enterprise, government and public network operators who are dissatisfied with existing broadband delivery platforms. The unique applications of these innovations are realized through a cost effective manufacturing process, which is delivered to the customer as a quick and easily deployable product.
