1st Annual Battle of the Bands on Santa Cruz Live has launched with prizes including two Les Paul guitars sponsored by Gibson Guitars.

May 4, 2005 (Press Release) -- The 1st Annual Battle of the Bands on www.santacruzlive.com currently is open to all bands of all genres. Band sign-up will continue until May 31, 2005. Online voting by the public will begin June 1st, 2005 and end on July 31, 2005. The top ten winners will be announced on August 15, 2005.

This online only Battle of the Bands includes prizes of two Les Paul Guitars and two Audio Studio paks sponsored by Gibson and Universal Audio. Additionally, the top ten bands will be distributed and marketed on a compilation cd that is being sponsored by Faultline Audio.
