FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Chamber to Honor Paul Graziani as 2005 CEO of the Year at Annual Dinner
Malvern, PA – May 5, 2005 The Chester County Chamber of Business & Industry will host its 2005 Annual Dinner on May 18, 2005 from 6 pm to 9 pm. Located on the breathtaking grounds of Longwood Gardens, the event will honor the 2005 CEO of the Year and the 2005 Citizen of the Year under the theme “Business is Blooming in Chester County.”
Paul Graziani, President and CEO of Analytical Graphics in Frazer, PA, will be honored as 2005 CEO of the Year. Honoring business leaders who exhibit a commitment to fostering business in Chester County, Mr. Graziani’s nomination for this award was clearly appropriate. Analytical Graphics has experienced phenomenal growth in the last year and expects more of the same for 2005 and beyond. The company has placed in the renowned Inc. 500, and has been recognized by the Great Place to Work® Institute (GPTWI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) as the top small business to work for in America.
Mr. Graziani serves on multiple boards of directors, including The Space Foundation, Megadata and the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation, and is an active member of numerous advisory boards, including the Joint Military Intelligence College Foundation and Penn State Great Valley.
The 2005 Annual Chamber Dinner is one of the Chamber’s signature events. This year’s theme, “Business is Blooming in Chester County,” lends itself well not only to the stunning arrays of blooms at this year’s venue, Longwood Gardens, but also to the recent and continuing success and growth of business in the region. Chester County has recently been noted nationally as one of the fastest growing counties in the nation.
The evening will also honor Rev. David J. Duffy, O.S.A., as 2005 Citizen of the Year award. This award is bestowed upon individuals who have demonstrated a leadership quality in promoting Chester County and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Last year, the Chamber honored State Representative Elinor Z. Taylor for her years of leadership in Harrisburg.
Father Duffy is a proud 1948 graduate of Malvern Preparatory School in Malvern, and currently serves as its President. Father Duffy successfully brought the school from the brink of closing in 1975 to its current position as one of the top preparatory schools in the area. In April of this year, the school announced that a new campus art center would be named after him, in honor of his years of dedicated service to the organization.
