But what is in brief Personal Securer � it is not only your own guardian for personal security equipped with a Panic button and integrated alarm hooter by which your GPS coordinates are sent to an emergency center through GSM, but also a GSM/GPRS/GPS device and a tri-band mobile phone with limited functionality. Attached to the PC, Personal Securer 2.00 becomes a GSM/GPRS modem and GPS receiver. Its GPS core is based on SiRF XTrac software that enables tracing indoors and between tall buildings in city surroundings with a supreme time-to-first fix rate. It is equipped with a Li-Ion battery for 24 h non-stop work (accomplished with utiliza-tion of some of the supported power management modes), a USB interface, an integrated NV memory for saving of events, 2 status LEDs, and it is shock resistant.

But what exactly made necessary the release of Personal Securer 2.00 on the market was the opening of a huge project in 12 countries for the distribution of Personal Securer devices.
