A new way to shop for handbags online.

Newport Beach, CA, May 18, 2005: Launched today, www.kimberly-k.com, offers shoppers an innovative way to shop online – the ability to “sample” a handbag before purchase. This overcomes many shoppers fear of ordering online without first seeing the merchandise firsthand.
Sampling allows a shopper to order a handbag and have five days to see it, feel it and decide if they want to purchase the handbag. Interested shoppers may request up to two bags – making it easier to compare both side by side, and decide which handbag they like the best. They can also make sure the new bag can hold all of their personal items or get a friend’s opinion before committing to a purchase.
Kim McClintick, the owner of Kimberly K Accessories, came up with the idea when she decided that after three years of being in business the Internet would be the exclusive source for her handbags. The bags are sold exclusively through the web site or by in-home trunk shows. “I want women all over the country to be able to see my bags in person, to make sure they love them before buying one.” Sampling gives the busy mom or working woman an easy and convenient way to shop in their own home.
Customers can even sample a handbag from the new Summer 2005 collection. The collection, only arriving last week, is gaining popularity due to the fun prints, plastic coatings and the cute style names such as “Goody Two Shoes”.
