After 14 years of research and developement in the area of breast cancer research, some 50 potential new anti-cancer drugs have been found. The main compounds come from marine sponges and at least 30 plants to date. Researchers believe that we have found a totally new family of inorganic, small molecules that have shown promiose against carcinoma , leukemia and sarcomas.
