TM4B, London's international messaging gateway, has announced that it is to provide customers with an in-depth broadcast analysis tool.

Through its secure web-based interface (SMS Online), TM4B has announced that it is to provide its customers with an in-depth analysis of the messages that they send.
According to Fahed Bizzari, Managing Director of TM4B, "We want text-messaging to be a means of communication that organisations can depended upon. We want SMS to be taken seriously and use it in place of traditional methods of communication."
Whilst many service providers offer text-messaging at very low prices, the levels of reliability in terms of message delivery are also very low. Usually, 'low-cost' messaging doesn't include the delivery reports provided by the network operators that are needed to clarify the delivery status of such messages.
"At the moment, senders have to take their providers' word that their messages are being sent, because without delivery reports, there's no evidence. Even if they are being sent, the original senders can't know if their message have been delivered or not and many of their messages could be sent to mobile numbers that no longer exist."
The new service will also allow TM4B's customers to group messages according to their delivery status. All the messages that have failed, for example, can be grouped up; making it easy for our customers to weed out invalid numbers and ensuring that their contact databases are kept up-to-date.
The new service is to be provided for free, at no extra cost to the user.
